x2, Just use a little sand paper to smooth it our if you are worried about it, The top part can be replaced with 4-6 bolts no problem. The bottom part can be repaired pretty easily... I really wouldnt worry to much about it though

Its the the top part piece. The grill/light socket thing isnt damaged at all.

Im just one of those OCD freaks that likes a clean undamaged rig... we'll see how it turns out

Yeah, I know what you mean, Even though my pain is all messed up i dont like having broken plastics and stuff....

But like i said, go to A-1 or the other wrecker in Mesa and look for a new top piece, The bolts are part of the radiator support. Atleast i am pretty sure that top piece is separate..... But the wreckers in AJ north of the 60 have no good header panels.... The fronnt end of all of their jeeps are all hacked up. Not even a block... Interiors are pretty much gone too....

I unfortunately traded my jeep in last summer for a vehicle lighter on gas (poor graduate student...) Now that I've graduated, I've been looking furiously for a job. Once I get a good job, the first thing I'm gonna buy is a new cherokee. So, my question for all of you is this: What 'needs' would you recommend for a used vehicle and what 'wants' do you recommend? Also, what mechanic/shop would you recommend that is knowledgeable with cherokees? I used to go to Desert Rat in Tempe...
My last Jeep was a 96, 4.0, Auto, 4x4 with the 4.5 inch rubicon express full suspension lift and 33" Wrangler MTR's. I loved it and have regretted trading it ever since. Please feel free to message me any advice you have as I'd like to be more informed this time around. Thanks in advance and I hope to be able to join you on the trail soon!

I'm just going to leave it for now and keep a look out. I need to go to the JY and see what they have so if they have anything i can snag it...
