Got mine out of the shop, new motor mounts installed. Spent the day rebuilding a jy drivers door off an '89 to replaced the bent one on my '95. Still need to rebuild/replace t-case and front axles.
Today I took a road trip from Apache Junction down the 60 to the 79 almost to Tucson, turned around at Catalina and drove up the 77 to Globe. Then I met some friends and we drove to Roosevelt Lake where we got to-go lunch at Boston's Lake House Grill. Drove to the shore of the lake and ate lunch. Best chicken wings I have EVER HAD! It was 277 miles total and Mr Jeep drove like a dream the whole way and did not leak a drop of oil. So proud of him! Couple pics...
Finally part of the lifted XJ family... it's a mild 2.5"...but a pretty dramatic transformation with the sad shape the original suspension was in before I replaced it all. She literally sits about 4 inches higher in the rear and about 2" higher in the front for a nice even look stance.
Put new longer travel shocks on to handle the extra height plus the OEM's were totally shot. And new Crown heavy duty full leaf springs in back. With shackle relocation brackets to assist in leveling it out.

I envy you. Need to make a road trip to Tucson, too, and I think why not copying yours? Different trip planners suggest different routes, but I am sure one from a real traveller would be even more interesting.
