Default 2009 Easter Jeep Safari - Moab

Hey everybody, I know Jeep Safari is still about 2 months away but I got my Safari paper a few weeks ago and am probably going to register in a little while. I was wondering who on here is planning to be there and what trails you guys are thinking of doing? I am only going to be part of Safari for the two weekends, the 4th and 5th and the 11th - 12th of April due to the fact that I am going to have a new job by that time and cant manage a week off that soon after starting. If anybody is going to be there on those days what trails are you thinking about. I figured if some of us on here were planning on the same trails and we put them down as our preferred trails on the same days maybe we will end up in the same groups.

I know I will be there for the vendor show on Friday the 10th. I'll be around Moab the 11th & 12th, but not sure where yet. I do know it will not be part of any official trail group, though.

Haha yeah I know what you mean. I was just filling out the trail preferences tonight and I have quite a few 5 rated trails in there. They say that 4 is the highest you want to try with a stock jeep. So I figure I should be able to manage 5 OK with 2.5 in of lift and no lockers... I hope lol Make sure you get your registration in by Mar 3rd other wise you wont be in lottery for preferred trails. The whole thing is kinda confusing but hopefully it will work out.

Yeah that's what I was saying. It sounded as if you were going to be part of EJS so I was just letting you know when the registration was do by. I guess I missed something.

If you stay off the 'popular' trails during EJS week, you can avoid the crowds, too I was there for the 'big weekend' last year and only saw a couple of other Jeeps the whole time

Well I got my reg confirmation today... here are the trails I have planned for EJS

Sunday 4/5/09 Porcupine Rim
Tuesday 4/7/09 Poison Spider Mesa
Wednesday 4/8/09 Hell's Revenge
Saturday 4/11/09 Fin's & Things... Figured it would be a fun trail to take my friend from CT on that's going to be here for the first time. Plus I might run some trails on the other days during the week just not part of any group.
