Right across from pawn shop on brodway- down at the end towards kalispell exit. RollerCoaster is street name. Or take mullan to frenchtown/turn right at stop sign at mill/ Continue to rollercoaster. There are a few other spots to play along there.Originally Posted by chademinent

For any of you Helena area people, Frontier 4 wheelers is having an informal New Year's Day snow run. Meet at the Town Pump on Custer Avenue, west side of I15 (across from Burger King) @ 9:30am. Bring food to cook over a campfire at lunch. NO ALCOHOL. All are welcome.

I go with the rimrock 4x4 occasionally but not a member. I get emails from the Missoula club (backroads) but have yet to go on a ride with them. Also have their book.Originally Posted by oldcelicaracer

Problem is here that 1.) They seem to go more for scenery then actual wheeling which has its place but not really what I like to do. 2.) There are hardly any trails near here. 3.) They must mostly be retired because I am almost always working when they meet.
Rimrock used to have alot of guys with sweet rigs (buggies and stuff) and do much more interesting trips... I don't know what they are like anymore.
I used to pay to be apart of the big M4x4A... Not worth the cash to me honestly... didn't do much for me. I get that they fight to keep trails open but ill just donate to the lawyer directly if I care about the area.

I'm with the magic city ...we do a lot of trail rides and have access to private lands that are pretty sweet,we have members with buggies and so on as well..rim rockers are a close group of buddies, either u fit in or don't from what older members of that group has told me anyways,Lol hell we have members in both clubs. This was a few days ago on some of the medium/hard trails...

Yea the club here doesn't do stuff like that that I've seen. Haven't gone with them but not from any trip pictures I've seen. Where is that?

My dad does alot with magic city- helps them work on the Morrison sometimes. I've gone a few rides with some on em. (last one... don't remember their names but a Bronco and a scout). Pretty cool guys.
