What happened to the brotherhood of Jeeping? Your 1996 isn't probably worth much more than $4,800 "by the book" but i'm sure with your extras its worth more than that. I don't have the time to use the XJ as she should so I simply dropped a note in the XJ'rs OC section to see if someone locally wanted to come take a look at a pretty awesome XJ and maybe buy it. nothing more nothing less. It can sit in my driveway and just be my bug out vehicle for all I care. I'm not really "trying" to sell it. Nobody in the forum needs your negative and uniformed narrative of what you think my vehicle is worth.
Gather around and be a brother in this Jeep thing or just step out.

All I mean is that if you truly wanted to sell it, you would price it lower. But since you are willing to sit on it for a while (which I didn't know before), then by all means, keep it at $4500. I'm just trying to be realistic here for you, that you aren't going to get a lot of interest at that price. MOST people don't share the same love for XJs that people around here do.

Bashing and being realistic are two different things. Just so you know...

You're 100% right. Take it however you'd like but all the parts needed to be replaced...you could find a stocker for 1500 or less with 3 grand available in upgrades at that price. More power to you for trying to get 4500 but he isn't bashing "jeeps" more or less trying to give an idea why you're asking too much.

Whats going on OC XJers, haven't been around in awhile (and ****'s falling apart apparently, looking at these earlier posts). Anyone done the cut n fold mod? Any tips? I'm going to be tackling that next so I can get my rear bumper mounted.

X2

I actually NEED to do it. I wanted to see if I could chop up the back to use the Smittybuilt XRC rear quarter guards for a JK. Ill probably have to go to the JK forums for dimensions....unless there happens to be a switch hitter around here??? Or someone who has fabbed them up to fit their XJ.

Post some pics when u do the cut n fold.

Just order my bumpers a few days ago and will be doing the mod here shortly. Looking for advise and tips too and will post any info I can find.

Very nice. That was my second option, but I got my front and rear bumpers for about 75% of that JCR rear bumper haha.

Yeah buddy. Will do. Just pulled my flares off, getting **** ready to do it (spare time is hard to come by). Hopefully I can get it done in one go if I put 3-5 hours aside.
