Quote: Tbar has to be a certain length? Plus it's adjustable.....kinda. I'm making my own tbar obviously with rod ends. New bracket on the frame side too.

Any pointers???
In a PERFECT world the track bar would be the same exact length and paralel, in relation to the draglink. That track bar will have to be about 1/2 the length of the draglink due where the mount is on the axle. Just creates bump steer.

Well then.... Crap... Lol. U live and u learn. The tbar and drag will be parallel, but yea it will be about a foot or so shorter than the drag. But then Where else would u mount the tbar bracket? Just farther to the passenger side?

xj run
Hey chuck here.. Saturday run sounds good count me in. Did a run a few weeks ago. The gate at the (Y) to the right going to the towers. just past the Flat was locked. I'm going to call the forest department tomorrow and see about getting a key. Found out that we can get one for a $100.00 a year. I have to go to riverside to apply for it. Well keep you updated. About what time are u thinking about going?

It's supposed to be pretty cool this weekend. So maybe meet up around 9 or earlier? Now that they found the two missing hikers in HJ hopefully the mtn will be open.

Still cracks me up. Lost in Holy Jim. And please don't go hiking in board shorts. Wtf we're they thinking? O well. Glad they're ok and alive

Whatsup OC'ers. Haven't been on in awhile (dog ran away, won the lottery, subjected to experiments, take your pick), Looking to finally hit the trails again. I'm looking to nab a bumper so I can throw a winch up to at least have something. Anybody bought the dirtboundoffroad.com winch bumper, any experiences with them as a company? Anybody have a better suggestion.

Also, what's your winches of choice.

Might be too early for me, I will try to make it. Still need to finish bolting up steering box on jeep and take to alignment shop Saturday morning.

I just bought Dirtbound's extreme winch bumper without the brush guard. The price was great and local shop so you can pick it up.

Cool, I pass near their shop a few times a month going up to the range so I figured I could pick it up as I go. And I'm getting the DIY weld it yourself one, can't beat that price.

Another question you or anybody else, experiences installing an AA SYE? I've had it sitting in the side of the shop for awhile now but haven't gotten around to doing it, can't afford to be without my DD right now if something goes wrong.

No need to twist my arm lol I'll finish the Jeep tonight and help with whatever else you got on yours.
I got an appointment at 8:30am Sat. right around the corner. Should only take an hour if they know what they are doing, so that's where I'm at on time.

Nice, great deal on the DIY. I like the bumper, i think it looks great and strong and doesn't weigh a lot either. My favorite feature is the winch sits real low.

That was one of my beefs with the others I was looking at, all the winches were blocking the radiator. What winch are you running on your rig? And did you run spacers for sag or was there not much
