im picking up a d30 to sling under the front and a buddy had an 8.25 layin around. so maybe, just maybe i will have the xj on stock axles before memorial day. kinda bummed about not being able to do an axle swap like i planned.

the ford needs a new front driveline but other than that its a good truck. i already have grooved iroks on H2s on the truck so it should be a nice change of pace

and yeah alan, lots of pics of you cuz you are just about the only xj i wheel with and its hard to take pics of myself

 

we tried to meet up with alan but he had already broken a rear shaft so....

the xj had a little trouble but made it out ok. he went around top and we decided to hit the last section of trail, kinda a 'bonus line'.







but got it together and headed home
