Default Tire size question

Happy Thanksgiving!

Mine is a tire size question: I drive a '92 Jeep Cherokee Laredo 4WD which is in need of new tires. I've always used this size tire (P225-75-R15 LTX's), but now it seems that size is not so common.

What changes happen if I install a P235-75-R15? Will it change my gas mileage? Will it change the alignment? Might it effect anything else?

Thanks for your assistance!

Judy

You mite think about using 235/70/15 it should be just a little wider than 225/75/15 and the tire height of the tire should be almost the same .

You shouldn't have any problems with a 2357515
Most xj I've seen run that size not sure if it's a stock size but when I got mine it had 2357515..
now I have 31x10.5015 but on a 4.5 lift
