haven't had internet in a very long time I live in the middle of no where and we just got our internet back. Would like to set up a trip to hollister soon, as soon as the rubicon opens I would like to go. If anyone is interested please let me know.
That looks like a great trail. It's near a resort too so I can get some snowboarding in while I'm out there.
Too bad the snow is **** right now.
How is that trail in the winter??

Im not sure how much snow there will be, it should be relatively easy, most forestry roads get a 3 rating! They claim stock jeeps can run that trail!

I can do the Corral Hollow trip. The site says "This trail is a great choice for the first timers or if you want to take the wife’s SUV somewhere without tearing up the rocker panels" which is exactly what I am looking for. I've never wheeled (though I've driven over some pretty rough roads just tooling around the mountains) and my Jeep is stock with 235/75 tires, so until I can get some sliders, skid plates and armor on it I'd prefer to avoid anything that might damage it. Yeah, I know its a Jeep, but it's also my DD and I'd like to have it around for a long time.
So how many people are interested in going? I'd be up for doing it this weekend. I'm free Friday - Sunday. Any of those days works for me. I can bring some basic handtools in case someone breaks down, but judging from what I've read about this trail I don't think that'll be a problem.
