Very cool man!! You should check out the facebook page "gold country 4x4" .. all guys from stockton, manteca, sacremento area. Get some tech help, sell or buy good gear and parts, and go wheeling with eachother. Its a new group and were actually doing our first run together on january 11 you may be intrested in. We are heading up to uncle toms cabin near the rubicon to do a day of snow wheelin on the back roads.Originally Posted by R6BLUE03

I'm not, however I just learned of a club out of modesto called "4x4 in Motion" I haven't contacted anyone yet but I intend to.
I have ran slick rock with a couple of those guys I think- fun group! If you do the face book thing you should look into gold country 4x4, and norcal jeep Cherokee club.. both great sites for tech, parts, meets, etc, all pretty local. They are not OFFICIALLY clubs yet but they are workin on it nowOriginally Posted by Gary Briggs

I'm on the Nor Cal cherokee facebook group, seem like cool dudes.
I'm not concerned with anything being official, who gives a $hit about all that. Just looking for the opportunity to wheel with like minded people from time to time.

found the sites on facebook, thanks. I just lifted the jeep yesterday but my rear shocks have not come in yet. Still have a 28 inch tire on the jeep. Is that big enough for that run?Originally Posted by mwilliams0311

I checked out those Uncle Toms Cabin pics on the Nor Cal facebook page, looked like a blast. I would have loved to go but I was in Reno that weekend to see Daniel Tosh's stand up show. I'm totally down next time around, snow wheeling looks pretty fun.
