Default meeting place for the april 24th run

ok so we are going to be meeting at four corners on hwy 41 at the four way stop and turn off to millerton lake. Not for sure about what time but if we can meet up early enough we can hit the snow while it's still some what hard last time it was already getting slushy and made it a little difficult to drive on. also if it we can't get in to nelder groove area then we'll be heading over to central camp area for there ohv trails.

Default New to the area

I am originally from Idaho but moved down to the Paso Robles area about a year ago. I have a 96 cherokee, like everyone else its no where near where I want it. Anyway I am used to Idaho where I can 4wheel any where I want, so here I have no idea where to go. I would love to get some people together and do a trip to Hollister this is the only place I am aware of but it looks like a good time. i am in the military so don't have allot of time off but i'm sure i can make something happen for some time in my Jeep.

Yes Sir! Hollister is a blast. I just went for my first time last week. I do have to say that the courses are super easy. i didn't need 4wd for most of it. Theres so much to play around in. Have a BBQ or what not. During the weekends it's wicked busy there tho. I went on a Tuesday. I was the only one there minus these one dudes that were stuck, so they didn't count.
I'm game to meet up with ya some time. My most free day if any is Mondays though. I might be able to switch another day during the week, but weekends are out for me. Just an offer.
I don't have any form of recovery though. It cost $200+ to get pulled out.
You can do a good portion of stuff there stock height and tires. I'd suggest disco's. You can do alot more with 3.5" lift and 31-32" tires.
I still have to get disposable camera developed for the pix.

well there is big sur backroads that are pretty decent nothing difficult, youd have to go to cambria and then up highway 1 to Gorda or go to Fort Hunter Ligget up Nacmiento ferguson road , 2 different ways to get there about 40 miles of backroads and old gold mines .
