The shock boots..... Some say they hold in mud and are better to leave them off. Others say its better to have them on.

Hah! I was expecting something way more scientific! I avoid mud when ever possible, I consider mudding to be something I phase out in high school after my parents beat my *** for ruining the interior of what was a immaculate ford bronco!

Last time I checked they had a good amount of xj's. if a $100 for all four sounds fair to you let me know, or shoot me another offer. I have no use for them so they'll just be sitting around anyway... Also have a Dana 35, Ford 8.8, Two renix 4.0's, AW4 trans, np231 tc sitting around if anyone is interested.
Sold! And I'll talk to you about the AW4 and 8.8 when I get the springs, I'll PM you my number I'm off tomorrow if we can work something out. And guys about pulling springs at the JY I've had bad luck pulling them at home it I did it there I would just cut the mount on the frame and cut the shackles, don't feel like going through the hassle though. If anyone knows of TJ flares for sale at a good price let me know.

Quick question, does Anyone know if any of the mustang 8.8s are the right width like a fox or sn95? I come from a mustang back ground an I know they are almost identical to the exploder 8.8 but I'm more familiar with them and finding mustang parts is easier than finding exploder parts for me.

I think they work but most people don't use the 8.8 out of mustangs as they are only 28 spline whereas the exploder has a 31 spline 8.8.

Disc brake conversions cost more that what I can buy an entire axle assembly for, I'm looking for a 4.11 with and open diff so I can use an Aussie locker!

You too, hope those springs work for you. I'm hoping to get my lift done in the next few weeks so I'll have the other two available.

I'm planning on going to Bald Mountain tomorrow if you or anyone else wants to join let me know.
