Connects to the body and bumper, I don't need the inner brackets, but I'll take them if you've got them!

8 months and 4 local yards...I've seen 1 tire carrier. Left Friday, came back for it Sunday and it was gone I vowed never never again!

My hopes is that someone will spot one in a yard, tell me, and we can arrange an agreement on pulling it and such...its not really economical to drive to yards that are 1+ hrs away in hopes to find a carrier. I do search all my local yards every weekend though...thats how I got my waggy tails & waggy clip.

Anyway, still looking.

I'm out near palm springs springs. I pulled a front skid off an older xj last weekend. There was another xj with both skids and I pulled off the transfer case skid but I don't need it cuz I'm 2wd so I'm looking to get rid of it

I was wanting a front skid..but it looks like it'll make working on everything up front harder. I also have a x-fer skid..but I'm ditching it when I install my frame stiffeners. I'm gonna do a flat belly skid plate.

The only thing I saw that might be difficult with the front skid is the alternator. I'm going back to the jy out here by me this weekend, want me to check for the gas tank skid?

Awsome thank you greatly! I'll pay for your time pulling it as well!
I need the kind that mounts to the body and bumper, not just the bumper mounted one! My jeeps already setup for it, someone just took it or sold it.

Ok cool, being that you already have the bumper it'll be cheaper and easier to remove. I'm going to be hitting the jys a lot in the next couple months. There are two pick-a-parts in anaheim that I'll be going to maybe in two weeks and an ecology in san bernardino. You're welcome to come along.
