Default Places to wheel in Bay Area?

I know there's Hollister Hills, Frank Raines, Carnegie, and a little further away Prairie City, the Rubicon, Deer Valley, Slick Rock, etc. But does anyone know of any where to wheel that is closer than an hour from San Jose? Like even if it's just a fire road in the Santa Cruz Mountains? As far as I know they're all closed to public access but there has to be something somewhere off of Summit Road. Don't get me wrong, Hollister is pretty awesome and I've been there about 8 times but haven't gone to Frank Raines or Carnegie yet. I'd really like to run Deer Valley or Slick Rock but I know I would get quite a bit of damage as my Jeep is about an inch over stock with 30" MT/Rs and I only have a gas tank skid and rock sliders. As it's my only vehicle and being in college I can't afford for anything to happen. I'm just looking for somewhere closer without using so much gas getting there and back. If anyone knows of anywhere I would really appreciate it

dont waste your time at carnegie. 4x4's are not allowed to go on the trails there and they closed off the river bed. Fraink rains is pretty small too.
