Lovell canyon is along blue diamond. Take the 15 out to blue diamond and head out like you are heading to bluediamond/pahrump. When you hit the top of the hill, the first or second marked road on the right is Lovell Canyon rd. Follow it out and there is a trail that leads to red rock.

I am down to take that teton trail 91XJ. any new plans of going back out?

I'm down for doin a little bit of wheeling with you guys when I get down there. Unfortunately I have a ZJ with a bad engine so now that is getting replaced as we speak, so no lift for a few months proli.

Lovells a pretty nice place to go to wheel/camp/shoot.

I have heard of that trail. My buddy was talking about a trail that takes you down into red rock so im guessing thats the same one. No I dont have any plans soon due to spare cash. I blew out my rear shocks last time so I need to get some new ones and some other little things before I go out again. How long is Lovell Canyon?

Glad you got her back and I have a parts jeep if you need something!

Lovell canyon is paved up to the pvt property where the gate is but you can go left before the gate and come out at Trout Canyon on the Pahrump side. There is a trail that goes from Lovell over into Red Rock, I have been on it with a 4x4 quad a couple of times, had to get creative in a couple of places to get across some boulders and then up on top there were cars that came up from the Red Rock side.

Well I just got back from the race shop over here that is fixing the engine in my V8 GC and he got the head off the drivers side and...

Engine overheated badly and galled the exhast valve wall bending it and not letting it close the rest of the way. So the piston hit the exhaust valve then in turn putting a nice divot in the piston bending the pushrod so yeah just some fun stuff happening here...

Now the next step is im getting the heads rebuilt and will be giving it a tune up. New waterpump, t-stat, battery, idler pulley, fan clutch. Also changing the front axles to u joint style and not the crappy CV. Fixing a brake line and new header panel for the headlights and a new grill and drivers fender.

This isnt gonna be cheap either... god im gonna have to start hittin the streets pretty hard now lol

You can see the valve not sitting flush on the left.

And the lovely bent pushrod.

Timing is dead on or really close to it atleast and I need plugs cap wires and rotor, and the fact that I just pulled two pounds of dead wire out from under the dash
