I'd like to see what the liberty is capable of. We are still going to try and do the competition on Monday. Are you guys just going to ride around?

Unfortunately I won't have the XJ till Christmas when I fly back to get the family and all my stuff. They got some cool places to wheel? What kinda terrain y'all got there? Any wheelin pics? Lol! Sorry for all the ?'s but I'm in Louisiana and all we really have is mud and trail riding!

I'll make sure to keep ya updated. I'm going to be pressed for time though, just pulled my front diff cover, and found that my pinion gear is missing a tooth, and a but of rust on the ring gear right on the numbers for gear size, so I have that to fix.

I had a few friends that went to DLI, but they graduated already. It varies out here, we have mud, rocks, trails, and sand.

I'm cool with everything but the rocks! I'd like to keep the body in fair condition for a little while. Lol! Never tried sand tho

well put it this way, last time we went out there i almost got him stuck right away..(oops, my bad) so we kinda took it easy from there on out, but when we started to go up above the quarry he didn't feel confident so we backed down. we will probably spend some time with him just co-driving w me while the liberty sits dormant...it is pretty much a street jeep. would love to get my bf ats mounted for the run...probably not gonna happen though. still looking forward to it.

Yeah, im in the same boat. Planning to put aside Sunday for work. Gotta do an SYE, degree shims, BPEs, rear Aussie, find a 33" spare, and clean it out since its full of the POs trash (just found a bunch under the seat, lol). Not to mention I need to find time to replace a CV axle in my DD.

Dang that's a lot to do. I pulled my front differential and found that it's an ARB air locker, but it's basically trash. All the spider pins are bent, the locking pin is busted, and the case has been welded on. So now I need a new differential. It may be repairable but not in the time frame that I need.
