gearing up to make a run south coast Monterey County next week (1-17), should be fun, lots of terratory to explore.as the weather gets warmer are planning on making regulaur camping trips between there, and Hollister. all are invited!! the more the merrier.

The "county roads" are open in Clear Creek/New Idria, all the emergency closure signs have been taken down as well

 

talked to the forest service and are going to go exploring the south coast trails next week. sounds like some of it is closed due to high creeks?, and other areas are off limits due to being 'wilderness' but still plenty of terrain and trails to explore. should be fun.

i was there a couple weekends ago, was easy stuff

only one part is bad, going down to willow creek

very rutted and trees down had to back up at one point, i dont advise stock susp going down there
