well it looks like im not goona be able to make the run guys. i got in an accident yesterday and the other drivers insurance is probably going to try to total my rig. its drivable so if they dont get back to me to take the car today or tomorrow ill be out there. keep your fingers crossed.

you should just do a salvage title on it and keep it for wheelin.

 

Sorry to hear that. How bad is the damage?

 

cosmetically the damage isnt too bad. front bumper, drivers headlight and headlight cowling and passenger front fender was bowed out. the driveline suffered the most. horrible jerking vibration at 0-12 moh and any speed while braking normally. any thoughts on what the nasty vibration could be? i put her on a rack and then in drive and the whole thing just started the shake violently.

 

how deep are we for tomorrows run?

Hey guys, I'm new to the site. I heard about tomorrow through NAXJA and xjsocal.com. I'm going to tag along if that's cool. I'm new to offroading and just got my 2001 XJ in July. I put on 31" BFGs, a 3" RC lift, and it has a factory rear LSD. Hopefully that's enough to hang with everyone.

So I'm aiming to be at the Chevron at 8am? I live in the SFV so I'll be on the road before 7 to get there by 8.

just to let everyone know that if your late to chevron then just head up 138 and turn on 173, the turn off is in the middle of a long right hand sweeper turn, youll turn left onto 173 after the windy section of 138, take that a few miles down and the turn off for the trail will be on the right side.

 

hey guys!!! well I had really busy days and have not had chance to get the rig ready!!! so I'm getting home until late... if things go well I will be there tomorrow!!! If I don't show at least a few of my friends from XJsocal.com will be there!!!
