Wildomar is small. Went there on my quad one time. I have been on the road from bottom of hill on grand/lake up to top of hill but never been on the main divide road going north or south.

Default Group outing...

Maybe we could get a group together in order to check out the Bonanza Trail, in the El Paso Mountains. My Jeep is stock, and I'm generally interested in the scenery and history of the areas that I explore. I've been driving in the El Paso Mouintains for years, and it's a fascinating place.

If any like-minded folks are interested, drop-me a line.

Default The El Paso Mountians..

The El Paso's lie between Routes 14 and 395, approx. 30 miles north of Kramer Jct., and approx 40 miles south of the China Lake NAWS.

We wouldn't break any laws; there are scores of open BLM trails in the El Paso's, which pass through some very interesting scenery and old mining areas.

Maybe we can do something in early January.

If you want to see some photos of the area, check out some of the earlier posts on my blog: www.elpasomountains.blogspot.com

I'll be out there at the dry lake bed the day after thanksgiving. My family and I go every year, will be there till Sunday, were on the right side of the 398 mile marker 63. Take it over the hill to the 2 dry lake beds. Great area for wheeling.
