I'm pretty new to the forum and just picked up a 92 Cherokee. I plan on modifying but want it checked by a good mechanic first. If anyone could recommend a mechanic in the Orange County area it would be greatly appreciated.

The only place I have been locally is jeeps r us. Didn't have any work done so I'm not sure of there knowledge. Id maybe try rebel offroad. Heard good things about them. I've done all the work myself....haven't had to take it in....yet.

If you want it looked at jump in the orange county post and ask. There's always someone there to help.

I'm in south OC and don't mind looking at it for you.

Jeep Solutions in Long Beach also has a pretty good reputation.

You posted this about a week ago though, have you had it looked at yet? I'd also be glad to meet/take a look at it too. I live in Huntington Beach.

I took it to Bogart Auto in Mission Viejo. They did a pretty good job and have good Jeep knowledge. I will check out Jeeps R Us too for any future needs I have to see how they compare.
