Nice find! Just registered our '98 XJ we picked up a couple weeks ago. Personal plate too. Pictures when it comes in. Dropping the tank tomorrow morning to replace the assembly. Then replacing radiator/hoses/belt/t-stat/and maybe the water pump but haven't bought it yet
Edit: water pump purchased. Should just replace it since it's probably the original from 158,800miles ago...

Must have a leak somewhere in the steering system. It spits fluid out of the lid. I have a stock pump that I ported out to push more fluid. And durango box. Any ideas

If it leaks out the lid the fluid is not flowing throughout the system, would have to be pump or restriction in gear box
