Default Help

Hey every one Im new to the forum and looking for some suggestions. I have a 93 xj with a 94 4.0 in it. Within the last couple months I have developed a deep knock in the motor. I believe it's a rod bearing.
So here's my question. Should I replace the rod bearings and while at it oil pump and front and rear seals. Or buy another 4.0 used and rebuild it and drop it in. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Also how hard is it to to do rod bearings while the motor is in the jeep.

Oh also I'm in the orange county area. Any one with free time this weekend let me know. I could use a second opinion on the noise.

I would get another engine rebuilt and drop in.
