Ok I you go to autozone get this Turtle paste that is sort of a clay orange color and follow the directions for that. Don't do the polish after because Cherokees around the 90's didn't have that thick of a paint coat so the polish can go right through to the metal and you don't want that. So just wax it after with the Turtle wax paste. You will have to use your nail to scratch off a lot of the oxidization because rubbing it off won't be easy. But the first stud I mentioned will restore the color. Just do it to the whole body (and any part that looks matte colored too because that's how oxidization first looks at the beginning)

Calling all XJs, Big Bear off road run this weekend. We plan on running trails around Holcomb Vally on Saturday and Crab Flat trails on Sunday. I am taking a few newbs out so we won't be running anything to crazy.

You should defanity come out if you don't mind wheeling with some newbies , I will pm you my cell number. We plan on rolling to Big Bear Friday night and will stay through Sunday. Our group has a camp site reserved at the MCCS Recreation Facility next to Snow Summit. One of my buddies is taking his almost stock 2014 disel Grand Cherokee so we will be doing mostly green/blues but he will be jumping in with me for part of a day so we can tackle Dishpan, Gold Mountain and a few other black trails in my XJ (4.5" lift, 35" tires, lockers...) if we have at least 2 built trucks I would be game to run John Bull as well.

Do you know what day you'll be doing the noob trails and what day you'll be doing the harder stuff or are you playing it by ear? I'd be in the noob section.
I still have some last minute details to tackle, not quite sure if I'll make it but I'll try. Still need to adjust my toe in and redo my TC drop.

You should defanitly try to make it up. We will be doing green blue trails mostly on Saturday. You are more than welcome to jump in with me when we tackle some blacks. I will pm you my number, hit me up if you can make it out or want to wheel some other time.

Good weekend of wheeling in Big Bear. One tire flat and a tail light were the only casualties.
