SOCAL Wheelers RUN #6
11/16/13

This time we are heading North to Calico Ghost Town. Most of the trails can be accomplished all in one day. I know the gate keeper would be out of the question for most of our rigs. There are only 2 hard core trails. Doran loop and Odessa canyon. Both rated difficult. And Phillips loop is a moderate trail.

RECOVERY POINT FRONT AND REAR ARE A MUST.
Brush guards and axles don't count.

Meet time:

9am

What to bring:

Full Size Spare
Hi Lift
Tools
Recovery equipment
Extra fluids: Water, Oil, Coolant, Gear oil, Trans fluid etc
Water
Food/Snacks
Sunscreen
Folding chair
Camera

You should be fine through most of it. It is all about picking a good line. If you need a little help over or off something, that's what the recovery points are for.

Do you have factory skid plates? I don't and have some fairly good trail marks all along the underside of my Jeep. There is always a chance to hurt something out wheeling.
