No worries. Got my axle in. Well most of it.

 

Might be heading down to Frank Raines OHV Park today. If anyone is out there and sees me, stop me and let's hit the trails.

Your fookin hilarious John. After I get the gears in we should do a Hollister trip. I've never been.

 

HH or Holister Hills is a long drive for 1 day. I got stuck 50 ft from parking lot, then bent steering and oil pan. Fun place! Plan to camp over. Chow...

 

I like camping....

 

I just got towed back to Guerneville from a road trip up north last night. Blew out the radiator. I was in the boonies and tried the pepper fix (not easy finding enough black ground pepper). That stopped the leak (plugged the hole) at idle but blew out at speed. Ran out of the water I carry, but had 2 gal. tea. In it went! Tea & black pepper radiator coolant... Tried again, and again....got more water... no good. Caught a ride to a phone I could borrow, local AAA truck locked in closed yard (****--what else could go wrong!!!). DON'T ever ask that question. Finally got tow truck from 100 miles away to come and tow me home. Moral of the story...? I think it's "whatever you beef up, something else will fail and test your sense of humor, your yankee ingenuity, and your general view of what life is all about". As offroaders, we live for a challenge!!! We overcome!!! We pay through the teeth, and in the end, if we truck alone, we call a tow truck.
Somebody tell me how I could have used my new CB to call AAA please.
