I believe it was a City Cop. Not too sure He blinded me with the spot light before I could see. The cool thing though was that He is looking to buy and build an xj.

 

Did he write you up for tire coverage from the tires sticking out, or for your ride height? I don't think a 4" lift needs mud flaps.

 

lol, any other cop probably wouldn't even have known the lift laws.

Yeeeaahh Almaden if you want to be all exact and technical. I haven't really done much of anything to my jeep other than trying to get it running good again since it was sitting out in Oregon for 8 years... But for the most part it runs great!! Other than the occasional overheating part. But the last time I dropped some coolant was because I forgot to hook th aux fan back up haha. Yep... That's my story. Oh wait I'm on the neighborhood watch for spinning donuts too..... NO MORE DONUTS!!!! The popo left me with a warning sooo no more bad stuff for me! I don't want my jeep taken from me

I probably can't make it up there to Cow Mountain this weekend tho, but in a future plan for sure.
I have plans to go to Hollister Hills on July 21st and 22nd and camp overnight. The fee is $10. per vehicle to camp: that includes access for both days and a campsite. $5 for the day if you don't camp. No reservations are accepted, first come, first served basis. I called over there and she said it was slow time of year, so shouldn't worry.
Anyone is welcome to join me if you are able.
