Default ZJ seats in a XJ?

So i have a 2000 cherokee 4 dr. The guy i bought the jeep from was a ummmmm larger fella so now the drivers seat slants towards the passenger seat. Pretty uncomfortable for long drives. My father in law has a zj and the seats are supper comfortable. I searched threads but wasnt able to find anything. Will the zj seats bolt right into the xj seat brackets or is there some fabricating that is required? Thanks.

No .. 95+ they redesigned the bracket making it stronger .. 94 and down bolt flat to the floor and 95+ are reinforced with a bar (floor brace) under the carpet and the seat bolts t in sideways to the brace.

Found this out when my son tried to snag the seats off my parts 95 and they wouldn't mount to his 88!

ahhhh got ya that makes sense. Well i found out that the seats out of a 99-04 grand are direct bolt in. (Look in the fabrication thread) Found a cool link in 4wheel magazine that confirms this. Called B and R (I think) and they want $125 per seat! Gonna call pull-a-part today and see what they have and want.
