I thought Shotgun and Huckleberry Flats was class IV too? Then again you PDX boys probably aren't interested in driving clear past Lebanon or Eugene to wheel when Browns is an hour away...

yea i heard about stuff like that but im willing to go to browns camp private message me and we can talk about it
I would probably rather live in Portland (food, women, events, etc.), and take long excursions to wheel, since 99% of the time I'm not wheelin', but it is nice to be able to drive 5 minutes into the middle of nowhere sometimes.

Was your buddy's ticket high enough to pay for the manpower and equipment required to justify something like that? We don't have a lot of legitamate off road areas out here, but there is seemingly endless access to BLM and Forest Service roads. The former can be so gnarly as to make you question whether you're still on a road. And, while I don't like to tear **** up, there's just about zero law enforcement (or people at all), and once in a while it can be fun to pick a random rock rim and see if you can make it over. Guess that's why they call 'em rocker panels. The only thing that's missing, except for maybe a few weeks in spring, is mud.
