Now that hurts to see. Almost looks like you have rear wheels stearing in the pics from above. Any idea on how you manage to pull that off?

yea, looks like i will be able to fix it, i will pull the axle to tomorrow, and fix it then, then i will fix my bushwackers and clean the underside....it was a good day though. not a good trail if you don't get any damage!

Stared at it forever trying to figure out how much more to lift it. Currently have 3"RC kit with 3/4" spacer in front. I decided I would wait for my wheels to show up, put tires on it and then decide what to do. I did finish installing new Pioneer 6 1/2" speakers all the way around.

I did something that looked just like that. When I pulled the rear wheel I found that I had snaped the center pin that holds the leaf pack together. Took about three hours to fix, most of witch was spent trying to get the three pieces of the pin out. Then I used a grade 8 bolt to put it back together. I hope thats all it is for you! Fingers crossed for ya!

here is how far the leaf spring moved, it was about 6 inches or so

here is the center bolt that broke off and allowed all this damage to occur. i replaced it with a stainless steel grade 8 bolt

messed up leaf spring.

leaf spring taken off and taken apart to be repaired and put back together

leaf spring removed

new bolt installed, leaf spring put back together and repaired

leaf spring re-installed, axle re-centered, all back to normal

bushwackers re-installed and tire is center again!

this took all but 2 hours to do, i did both sides this way. i am now much more confident in the ability of my leaf springs. good upgrade to do for others, especially if you run a locker.

Installed adj track bar...then tried to remove stock pitman arm (didn't happen lol) now my steering wheel is all twisted. Btw do I need a drop pitman arm with a 5.5" lift? Trying to get an alignment this week.

yes you need one, or you can pull one off the grand cherokee, they are bigger and stronger then a drop pitman arm for the cherokee, and give you about a 2 inch drop on the pitman arm

When you take it in for the alignment they should straighten the stearing wheel out for you, I know they did mine for me when I took it in.
