Bought new shocks boots and bar pin eliminator kit... Now just waiting for a check to go through to buy the posi lock and adjustable trac bar

 

got home from work and decided there was enough time and sun, so I bedlined my rockers

 

Ordered some bilstein's

 

Picked up new TB gasket, an oil filter adapter seal and a T60 socket.

Took the studded tires off the '99 today. My summer tires aren't ready yet though. Gotta pressure wash the mud out of them and have them balanced, and that won't happen until payday. To get by, I stole the wheels off the '95. They're the base small ones (P215/75R15) and kinda crusty ugly, but they'll work for now!

The '95 is sitting on cinder blocks in the front, one old snow tire and the donut in the rear.

 

Found the exhaust leak I've been hearing

 

Same exact spot as mine.

 

Put in an oil catch can. I'll post pictures when I get home.

 

Took off my radiator cover since its getting into the 60s now. Checked the air in the borrowed tires. Was afraid they'd be low after sitting all winter but had to let about 10 lbs out of each one. Changed the oil and filter. Fresh Rotella T5 and an oversize Purolator PureOne. The filter adapter seal will just have to wait for another day.

 

Took of my xrc winch bumper and sold it. Gained like 2" of lift in the front haha

 

Bedlined the xj today not completely done yet but got most of it

 

Does that trap more heat under the hood?

 

Not that I've noticed
