I'm sure there are closer places for you but I get all my stuff from Chehalis Steel. Steel isn't cheap though. 2x6x3/16 I think was 180$. In many cases it's barely worth it to build your own stuff unless you got scratch metal or really really want to do it yourself. At least that's what I've found out.

Then again it only cost me about 200$ to build my roof rack that would have been a 600$ rack any place on the net.

What was the length on your 180$ 2x6?

Up here in the mitten I get a 24' 2x6 3/16ths for 200$. More then enough to make 2 sets of sliders, or a set of sliders and front and rear tube bumpers... 200$ and my own time, that's a steel on sliders and bumpers.

I just picked up 2X5X 3/16 for $80 in Tacoma all together including wire for my welder and all metal I'll be in my sliders about $150... well except for the fire that happened when welding them on . Make sure you have a spotter and fire suppression handy unlike me.

Much needed tire rotation, Needed to throw the stock wheels on to see if stock width would fit in our car dolly. Its a tight fit but it should work. I plan on getting a full parts jeep in the next couple days, Mine needs lots.

It's funny seeing its stock wheels on :P

R&R the rear transfer case drive shaft seal. Changed the oil in the transmission and bled the clutch hydraulics some more. Shifts into 2nd a lot better now.

Yeah, the trail hawk is much better than the standard version. They look a lot better in person.
