Yeah it would just get better range on the roof, I suppose on the trail I wouldn't really notice. Not to mention I don't know how to tune the antenna anyway

Ripped out the interor and got the soaked carpet out weighted so much lol also finshed cleaning the d60 seems like all I've done is run a grinder for weeks lol

Used the XJ to pull out the my Cummins I got stuck in my own yard....... Twice lol

Finished up with the OME 1.5" HD rear leaf and shock install. Ended up with 1.75" of lift with 3 sacks of concrete and our Golden Retrieverin the back, which is perfect since the plan is to tow our our small camper and hit the NW forest roads. The OME front coils and shocks are the next weekend project ....

I was the same way and still dont know every function on it. Set it to cb mode, pick a channel, turn the mic gain up about half way, and set the switch on "dynamic squelch control." Thats basically what I did and its been working. You will need to find someone else with a cb so you can test it and adjust from there.
