Ooo haha well we will see how hard/well these come out and I will let you know. I'm in a debate right now between 1/8" plate or 16 g sheet metal.

Started the tear down of the 97 motor that is going into my jeep. I cant believe how clean this motor is compared to mine, there is literally no sludge in it top or bottom. The valve cover gasket looked almost brand new and same with the oil pan gasket, took them all off effortlessly. The intake/exhaust gasket is the same way, looks brand new.

None the less im replacing all those gaskets, water pump, harmonic balancer, rear main seal.

Also realized the block that i have sitting out by my parts jeep is a 258 amc. Perfect for some stroker parts i need for my 4.7 build!! Good day=D

Put the stock airbox back into the jeep in preparation for my snorkel.

Installed my nates 4x4 recessed winch bumper. Great product! Very strong, weld quality is excellent, and install was easy (minus the old steering box bolts) but its a 12 point mounting system that doubles as a steering box brace.
And the hardware kit included fits perfect.

This week I removed the blasted neutral safety switch. I found instructions for removal, disassembly, cleaning and reinstallation. After a little tweaking it works great. Only took a couple of hours over two days and saved a bunch of cash.

today i wasted another day trying to figure out the wiring on this thing. brake lights wont work, windshield wipers wont work, guage cluster lights wont work, and etc. the lights were already hardwired, but only the headlights and tailights work. the battery is hardwired, and the heater stays on even after i shut the car off. i think someone must have screwed the wiring on this thing hardcore, and if anyone is willing to come check it out and help me out, that would be amazing. if i could afford to go to a shop and have it looked at i would, but as of right now im super broke. and this is my daily driver as well, so im kinda SOL on if i get pulled over. lol imma keep trying. its a 1990 laredo with the 4.0 HO or whatever. not sure whats up with it, but i know it needs alot of work lol. thanks guys.

it probably does, this was right after slapping it on...it's weird though because of the winch tray it makes the gap look bigger in front, I just looked at it from the side and it appears straight, not nosed down.

Same bumper I have, i have hit so many trees with it and ive used it against a tree with the hoop sitting on the tree to winch out another jeep. The thing is so strong its not funny. Great bumper. Not one dent in it, just some scratches =D

Sounds to me like symptoms of a bad ignition switch.
