I replaced my busted up gear shift boot. I started with a generic Mr. Gasket "Euro Style Shift Boot", part number 6357. I Gorilla Glued velcro around the shifter hole and around the bottom of the new boot, trimmed to fit and VOILA! No more road noise, heat, smell, etc coming through the gaping wound. I rednecked it up by putting blow-in insulation into a grocery bag, rolling it up and jamming it in for more insulation.
Finished installing the IRO long arm and went for test drive... ride quality is much better. I have to mention the quality of the product is sub par, yesterday I had to run a tap through both of the sub frame arm mounts and today I had to re-tap the grease zert threads. Now I need to do some reaseach on the forum for shock suggestions, bilstein, fox, doetsch, rusty's so many options.
