Brandon, how deep is the snow on the trails at Evans? I am leaving Fallon, Nevada tomorrow (Saturday) morning. I figure on getting home sometime Sunday afternoon. I didn't get a chance to run Rubicon. I guess I decided to not push my luck after breaking and fixing my Jeep once while down here. If I rn intoany snow on the way home I will take pictures. My Jeep really rides nice now that the rear axle is sitting inhere straight again...lol. I took the smallest leaf out of the driver's side leaf pack because I lost the one out of the passenger side on the trail somewhere. It sits about a half inchlower and it really rides nice, now. Tried to get Rusty's to hook me up with a replacement leaf and that was a no-go. Go figure. I think i may just get a 2" liftshackle to replace my 1" lift shackles I have now. That should level it back out andit will ride and flex really good. Sounds like we are getting really close to time to do that next snow run.

just drive to burnett and stay on pioneer road and you will go through wilkeson and right by carbonado. stay on that road and it will eventually go over a one lane bridge. after the bridge the road Ys. take a right and the road should eventually turn into a gravel road. follow this road up for a few miles and there will be a big sign on your fight that says "Evans Creek ORV Park 500 Feet". and just around the corner take a left into the big parking lot. the 311 and 102 trails start from that campground.
does that help?

So lets do it then lets make a gathering 2 days before xmas! december 23 how does that work for folks? suggestions of locations COME ON LETS MAKE THIS HAPPEN. If we can get a huge mob of cherokees to meet and take pix we can show this site how bad a$$ the PNW guys are!!
once you pull into the main parking lot right after the "evans creek orv park 500 feet" sign, you just stay on the main road and you will immediately pass a knarly looking trail on your right (311). stay on this road and it will come to a Y right after a small creek crossing. stay to the right. about another 100 yards down the road you will be able to take another right turn and there should be an open gate right there. this is the entrance to the camp ground. very easy to find

How about combining the 4x4 run on 12 December with a grip and grin around the firepit at the campground later in the day?

The CF Evans Creek Snow Run is still on for Saturday, 12 December 2009. The weatherman says it will stay freezing cold through next week. Any precipitation we get will cause snow...especially in the mountains and passes. Like we are suppose to get some this coming weekend and next week. I'm sure Evans will have plenty of snow by the time we go up there on the 12th. ...AND YES!!! You guys are definitely welcome to meet us up there. We'll be rolling out of Bonney Lake at 9am so, we should be rolling through Wilkeson around 9:30. Hopefully on the trails before 10am.
