Well, as most of you know I put feelers out for an Evans Creek run this coming Staurday. The of the usual Evans run players I've talked with so far, already have plans. I just couldn't see going to Evans without the regular crew so......

I will be going to Walker Valley on Saturday, July 30th. I will be in the pit at 0900 to airdown and lock in. Anybody who wants to roll the trails with me is welcome.

We will have to go wheeling at Walker sometime soon after you get your new sliders. I bought my JCR Stage II sliders back in 2005. I've beat them mercilously and all they require is a little paint touch up after each wheeling trip and they look brand new again.

Man, I've been wanting to take my hunting rig of a jeep out and wheel with you guys at walker. But of all times, all the trips are made when I'm gone . Going camping in Wenatchee. Oh well, next time!

I had a great wheeling trip to Walker on Saturday. The trac bar worked great. I didn't realize had bad my old one was until I saw how much better my Jeep turned in the tight stuff with the new one. I ran every trail but the Upper Mainline and Expressway. I ran the trail that bent and then broke my old trac bar, with no issues. My new RC sway bar quick discos work awesome too. It took longer to get in and out of the Jeep than it did to disconnect and stow the links....lol....and I never had any problems with the tires hitting them. That is what I hated the most about my old links....nothing to stow them on. No popping and pinging with these new links, either. Jeep handles like a Porche on the road now...lol!!!!! Here is a couple pics I snapped on one of my favorite stumps on the Lower Mainline.

You should come wheeling with us next time we all get together. You are just an hour south of Burlington, Wa. to go to Walker Valley and just an hour north of Bonney Lake to go to Evans Creek.

You're invited anytime, Bro. Just monitor the Northwest Forum. The regulars usually post it in there whenever anybody wants to plan a run. I believe the Bonney Lake Boys are going to run Evans this coming Saturday. If I can get my wife to buy off on wheeling two weekends in a row I will be there.

My XJ is closer to stock then anything else. How rough are the trails at walker valley. I have a two inch lift and 235/75 tires.
