I've heard of a 4wheeling area called Yacolt Burn or Jones Creek that is down in that area. Do you guys know if it is still open or open yet? The articles I've read are very confusing. Some of us guys up north would be driving 250+ miles to come down to Vancouver. I can't speak for the rest of the guys but, if I drive that far, I want some good 4wheeling involved. That's a long haul to shake a few hands and eat some pizza.

Hey the jones creek area is about 10-15 miles west of the browns camp area, all TSF, there are only 2 jeep trails out there, Rodgers road (windy up hill, narrow fun , really easy), and fire fox another fun hill run thats pretty easy but fun and really narrow.

If the place near Yacult Burn/Jones Creek isn't open. That Meet-n-Greet may just have to turn into a Brown's Camp run...LOL, since I'd be driving that far already.

I don't want to steal Orielly Jeep Guy's thunder. he was the one who proposed doing one of our Monthly Meet-n-Greets near Vancouver. So, are any of you Oregon boys going to make it up north to the Elbe Meet-n-Wheel this next weekend on the 8th??

I would be down to come down to Oregon for a Cherokee Forum Meet n Greet but, guys we're talking a 5-6 hour drive/250+ miles for me coming from Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island. Anybody coming from north of Olympia is looking at at least 100 miles...AND there are a lot of us north of Olympia in the northwest chapter of CF who would like to attend a Meet N Greet with you Oregon guys. If I have to drive that far and then find a place to stay overnight, too, I want more than a grip and grin at the local pizza place. Can we arrange to say meet for pizza at 7pm at Jantzen Beach Center and shoot the breeze for an hour or so. Then, meet at Brown's Camp trail head the next morning and put some XJs on those awesome trails I've heard so much about??

I'd like to make that trip, Branden. Only problem is I will be in Nevada 17 March thru 3 April working.
