Trac Bars
I tried putting this into the lifting section but no one there seems to know about trac bars, so Ill try it with you guys.
I have a 99 with 3" lift and I want to get a new trac bar.
Here are the two Im thinking about...
http://rustysoffroad.com/mm5/merchan..._Code=SUS_TRAC
http://www.ironman4x4fab.com/Jeep_XJ.../XJ_EZFTB.html
I hear a lot about rustys, good and bad. The ironman one looks tough and I like that you adjust it in place. As far as price the ironman is expensive, but i never checked the shipping on the rustys (so Im pretty sure it is close to the same price). The other thing is that the iron man one can be adjusted up to a 6" lift. The rustys up to 5". I know Im not done lifting.
Please forgive me for posting a question about parts here, but no one is giving me any answers any where else. Thanks guys

Rough country also makes a good adjustable trac bar. It adjusts up to 6.5" I think. I ran it on my old one and never had problems and I wheeled it hard.

If you go with rustys get the mount to, well worth the extra money. I havn't had a problem with this one

My problem is the amount of lift specifications. I need to go up some more but from what i hear I will need a sye if I get up to 4". So I definetly need something that can go from 3 to at least 5. The problem with the rough country is that it starts at 4 (and I must say Im not impressed with the lift kit of theres). Are adjustable ones weaker? Im not apposed to rustys and the ironmans product looks tough as can be. It looks like rustys is pretty popular in this area though
