Default Stolen XJ - Bellevue, WA

Hey guys,

A Jeep XJ was stolen from a Microsoft Employee - details below. Please go to our Facebook page (http://www.facebook.com/kc4x4sar) and like the post/page if you are a Facebook user, so that it re-posts to your page. That will help us get the word out.

JEEP STOLEN - Keep an eye out. Just an FYI and if people could keep an eye out for it on the road, the trail or in pieces in Craig's list.

It was stolen from a driveway in Lakehills, Bellevue 2 nights ago. License plate, WA - 340-TJN. Has Kargo Master roof basket, 33"... BFG MT's, Mile Marker 9500 SE winch, custom 4x4 fabrications bumpers and sliders, rusty's transmission skid, Rubicon 5" lift, Rusty's steering kit, Detroit Tru Track LSD, Rubicon drive shaft and slip yoke eliminator and lots more.

The owner only had liability coverage on it so recovery is his best hope.

Thanks for your help...

Just to close this thread down, the XJ was found on April 9 somewhere in unincorporated King Co. We are still looking for the parts on Craig's List and some other places.

After seeing these pictures, I just had car toys install the mother of all alarm/immobilizer systems in my XJ - I can even locate it online if it disapears..

This is happening all to often...

Man I'm really sorry to see this. I live on craigslist, so if I see anything come up, I will post the ad on here a.s.a.p. Kinda scary cause this is the 2nd Jeep I've seen stolen that was posted here on the CF.

It's not me, just a colleague at work. I've talked to some cop friends of mine and they say tricked out Jeeps are a big target, as the parts are often more valuable than the rig. They have seen quite a few get stolen lately.

Master switch and/or immobilizer has got to be a must these days. Though I heard there is a crew working Pierce Co. that winches cars onto an enclosed truck and strips the parts while driving...

wow, poor guy, liability only so its a total loss=[ that blows. I hope these people stealing these jeeps get what they deserve, which is a slow painful death by some uncurable disease!

Yarom it's not a good idea to tell everyone you have a great alarm system/immobilizer!!!!! There's ways around them especially if they know you have one buddy!
