hey guys i got my 1990 xj back.... and long story short the front windows wont roll down.... im just wondering if you can take the window motor out anf convert to hand crank?

They won't roll down at all? Can you hear the motor winding? As far as I know, the crank doors are set up and cut differently inside which wouldn't allow a proper conversion. Most people just end up swapping the doors out completely

If both don't work, it's probay a bad switch or fuse. I would run throu the electrical before replacing the doors.

I had the same problem after I replaced the master switch on the drivers side door .... all problems were fixed!! Hope you figure it out ...
