Does anyone on here go wheeling in the Blue Mountains or anywhere else in the Dayton/Walla Walla area? I just moved over here any it seems like I'm the only cherokee in Dayton. So many Toyota trucks.

I drove up around Godman Spring and came down near BlueWood. I wasn't going to go the whole way since I was by myself, but ran into a 'yota right as I got into the snow. So we drove the loop together. It was pretty nice. The main trail had deep enough ruts that it would steer my jeep around corners. Lol

There's not much snow this year, but still enough up higher to get plenty stuck. Its definitely time for gears and bigger tires this fall I think. 31s did alright following but not at all when trying to break trail.

I know I need gears. 35s and 3.55 don't make my transmission happy. I started leaving a bloody trail at the top. Just a small drip but working the trans seems to make it drip a lot more. Going to fix it today

It's not cheap but getting the right gears in your differentials for the tires you have keeps your automatic tranny alive through all kinds of wheeling.
