I'm not sure if this is common knowledge or not but I thought I'd share my experience. Anyone from Alaska will know that shipping parts for our jeeps like bumpers and lift kits can get really expensive. There's a website I just used called shopthe48.com thats based in Portland. You can find a website that will ship for free to the lower 48 and then they will forward it to you at a lower price. I just bought the smittybilt xrc front bumper with the bullbar from amazon and shopthe48 is only charging 160 to bring it to alaska. Compared to amazon wanting 500 for shipping I saved a lot of money. I hope this comes in handy for my fellow Alaskan jeep owners!
