Hey everyone, I'll be working in the seattle area for the summer (my XJ and I came all the way from central PA.. and I'll add that she made the trip no problem ).. lookin for some people to tag along with on some wheelin trips. Also, are there any decent offroad products stores around the area that you guys would recommend? My jeep is on ~3" and 31's right now - I'm looking to get a new front bumper, a transfer case skid, and possibly some cragar soft 8's.. any recommendations would be appreciated!

welcome to the area. Not sure about up north for shops but sure there are some other than the obvious 4wparts. In the Tacoma/Puyallup area there are a couple more local type shops that are good to deal with.
As far as wheeling I'm almost always open to a wheeling trip except this weekend unless I can get my jeep fixed sooner than later.

 

by the end of the summer you may want to stay! where about are you livein? there is a 4 wheel parts supply in alderwood, and olyimpic 4x4 in snohomish. lots of junk yards around to pick to.

 

Staying in renton for the summer, near the maplewood golf course.. i really wanna find some places to go wheelin after i make a few upgrades to my jeep in the next couple weeks.. the main thing i want to take care of is a front bumper, the front axle isn't a good tow point lol.

 

Tom, you and Alex live darn near right next door to this guy. You guys need to grab him up and bring him along on our next Walker run which is going to be as close to June 20th as I can get it. It will be my Birthday and I'm Jonesing to run Walker!!!

 

I'll wheel with you that weekend, if I end up not going to Nachez/Rimrock.

buck: i may be ready to roll around then. i'll want to try out my new rear sus set up. also got a nice camera, so maybe i can run a ahead and get good video of you all while i am out . get some good video.

 

I'm pumped to go wheelin again.. haven't been out in a couple months. anyone know where I could get a set of cragar d windows around here? I checked 4 wheel parts, but it looks like they don't sell cragars.
