Sure it looks a little deep, but I'm surprised he got stuck. That's not just an SUV, it's an XJ! It should have made it across no problem.

I say as long as the driver knows the fjording depth limit of his XJ, the depth of the water he is crossing doesn't pass that limit and that he isn't causing undue damage to the poor little fishes' habitat who live in the river, I see no problem with the river crossing. Just my .02 bits....oh and I better add that is if there is no laws against wheeled motor vehicles being in said river. We don't need to go giving any Tree Hugging Dirt Worshippers any free ammo to use to close all public land to 4wheelers. Nice looking Jeep!!

That is the Green River, there are both salmon and steelhead runs that lay eggs in the river as well as other species. And i can't think of any water that is legal to have vehicles driving through. Luckily this is just some dumb *** that was out being stupid not someone "wheeling" there vehicle. I would guess this person will lose their vehicle and receive some hefty fines for this, as well he should
