Okay, here is take II of the Reiter 4x4 run I am trying to put together. After discussing it with a few of the regulars in CF PACNORWEST group. It appears that (SATURDAY, 6 JUNE 2009) is the best day to get as many people out to Reiter as possible. So, we're changing from 13 to 6 June.
So, same plan. I will leave from Liberty Mart park-n-ride at 0600. All who want to drive with me from Oak Harbor, be there by then. I plan to arrive at the Monroe Fred Meyer around 0730. I will wait there in the Burger King parking lot which is in the Fred Meyer parking lot right off of Hwy. 2 as it goes through town on your left hand side. I will leave there at 0800 to head to the Reiter ORV area. It will take about 30 minutes driving from there, depending on traffic. Bobby and Brandon, this would be the perfect spot for me to meet up with you guys coming north on I-5. Just after you go through Lynnwood, you'll see the sign for Hwy. 2 East (Steven's Pass). Then just follow the signs to Monroe. I lead the guys the rest of the way who have never been there before. There are also places all over online to download maps of Reiter and how to get to Reiter.
So, now with the new date, who thinks they can make it to the Reiter Pit 4x4 run? Post up. Let me know.

I'm always down to go to rieter. I need to trim my fender flares before I go tho. I've only done the weak stuff up there when I owned a pathfinder I want to learn more trails ect so I'm down. and how long are you guys planning on staying?

Well, I'm planning on rolling into Reiter Pit between 8:30-9:00 in the morning. I will stay until I get tired of wheeling or until it gets dark. I will be at the Monroe Fred Meyer meet up place until 8:00.

Cool, we still have another week and a half for guys to fix their schedules and post up they're coming along. I just checked the MilitaryJeepers forum. So far, there are no takers there.

They all buy new jk, and most are scared to wheel them. But some of the guys have some nice rigs. It is ridiculous how many new wranglers there is on post.

Tell' em to bring their pretty knew JKs. They don't have to run the hard trails that threaten body damage. There are all kinds of trails at Reither.

Is there usually alot of standing water out there. If the weather keeps up I might go doorless, still debating that though. And is it similar to Evans temperature wise, or would shorts be ok.

Bobby, the boy has to work but, if he manages to get the day off I will bring him along. He really wants to run Reiter. He is saving up for gears, now.
Seattlecrwlr, I'm guessing since you were at reiter today that your new motor is installed. Will you being going to run Reiter with us on Sat. the 6th? We're meeting at 8am in the Monroe Fred Meyer parking lot.
