Rotted out floor boards, What rear end it has, Excessive leaking from transfer case, transmission, and/or motor. Take metal note of what it will cost to fix the issues it has and compare that to what he wants.

If your compression test comes out good and even in all cylinders, I'd look: for rust, leaks, cracks and how well doors, hood and hatch line up and close. Listen: for wierd noises in motor, tranny, TC, drivelines and axles. Smell: for anything rotton, burning inside or under the hood. Feel: for vibes, death wobble, heat from heater. If it's all good or reasonable to make good to you, buy it.
