PacNorWest Tahuya State Forest ORV run?
OK, you Cherokee Forum people from the Pacific Northwest. Who is up for a Tahuya State Forest ORV area run this coming Saturday, 24 Jan 09?? We really need to quit talking about doing a run to meet each other, and just make it happen. I will be there at the trail head of the 4x4 Loop trail at 10am or as soon as I can get there from the first ferry across from Whidbey Island. Post up if you can make it and at least acknowledge that that you saw the offer if you can't make it.

I wanted to let you know that I saw the offer. My zj is in the process of modifications over the next month or two and I am not ready quite yet to take it out. If the yj could fit all the kids, we would be there.

I would love to go but I am going to a silly NCO school for a couple more weeks. I hope you can get some people to go and have a blast.

Not fare that you are close enough to go there on a work night. I'm actually thinking next weekend will be better for me, too. This coming Sat. just got busy for me. So, should we try for Saturday, 31 Jan, then?? Let me know if there is any snow there. I'm not sceered either way. I'll still go.Hey any of you other PACNORWEST CF guys or gals free the next Saturday for a Tahuya run??

Its superbowl weekend. I have party plans, bummer. I cant do it the weekend after either, I have to work. One of these days hopefully. I cant wait to come up there. What kind of terrain is on this trail system? Can I take my cherokee through without scratching the side all to heck or body damage. Its not my wheeling rig, so I want to keep it in good shape.
EDIT: I tried to do some research and found that theres allot of water holes, mud, muddy trails, some rock. Is this correct, or do the videos that I seen just show these? Thanks

C'mon Fivendime. I'm talking wheeling Saturday. We're all gonna be home watching the Superbowl on Sunday. 98CherokeeSport, what is your normal name, Bud? .......and what kind of locker did you get for that thing? If it's an Aussie, I hope you got the one for the rear, first. That front one takes a little getting used to.

I'm pretty much coming from Portland Or. so its a drive for me. I wouldn't make it home in time to get ready. Don't get me wrong I want to go! How capable does a rig have to be? My friends Nissan pickup is bobbed, with I think a small lift with 30's or something like that.
