the LEDs look kinda blue and if they're too blue, expect your local uniformed officers to inform you that you're impersonating an emergency vehicle and the fines are pretty hefty. that is a nice rack though.
since this is a shop thread... anyone familiar with randy's offroad connection in marysville at all?

Why - cause I can - I've worked w/ steel all my life so I have the experience to fab what I want - I have a CNC plasma cutter I can use to cut whatever I can dream up and a well equipped shop to make it in.
Does it go off road - yes - but not in organized trail rides.
Rich cutting out "Search and Rescue" is a piece of cake!

#1 It looks out of place
#2 IF you ACTUALLY wheel it that will be ripped off in no time
#3 Lot of time involved in that and if I saw that coming down the freeway I would be
#4 I would compare that to a rice burner fart exhaust
but its his jeep. just would hate to see that destroyed going down a trail. Thats IF is gets wheeled

Ok bro, I can't keep quiet anymore. I've tried to be nice to you, but to be honest, you're one of the most narcissistic people I've ever seen. I will give you the fact that you own a built Xj and you've obviously put time and effort into it. But that's where it stops. I've seen countless times where you lay into people and try to publicly make them look stupid. I'm not a mean person, but I think I can say that on behalf of everyone thats spoken to you; You make us look bad, and your attitude towards almost everyone gives a bad first impression. I'm sure that there's someone somewhere that wants to ask a question, but is afraid to ask because they'll get reamed by "xjoffroad"
End rant.

^Bill like I said before, I like the uniqueness and it obviously shows in your time you spent on the strange mob. keep up the good work!

I think that rack is hilarious. You might weld some top sliders up there just to try to keep it from sliding into the trees. Not to the rack but somewhere up there

Hey man. Maybe I came off a little harder than I should have. I don't personally know you, so all I can go off is what I see in posts. This forum is known as "The Friendly Forum." Everyone has proven that to me since I've joined, and no one has ever treated me like dirt for asking a question, no matter how simple they thought it was. That is what keeps me here. I think you have a lot of knowledge and experience with XJs, and you have a lot to bring to the table here on the forum. I just want it to stay as friendly to everyone else as is has been to me. The lack of flaming here is what keeps me from going to other big named jeep forums. I just needed to get it off my chest. We're just all here to help one another; I don't want us to lose sight of that.

Bill, Thank you very much for having my son and I over and for your hospitality.
We enjoyed talking jeep with you, wish we would have had more time.
Please tell your wife thank you for putting up with us J
I will call you when I have a day I’m not working and see if we can get those lights set up for you.
