Default need help

I just bought a 1997 jeep cherokee sport all stock with a blown head gasket.I really want to fix her up and make her a trail and road rig i guess what i am asking is any suggestions on places to start looking for options for my new project.Any positve and negative feed back would be helpfull this is my first jeep and i cant wait to get started!!!

the first thing and probably the biggest given is lift and tires. then i would go armor, beefed up steering then lockers

thanks man thats what im doing after i replace the head gasket im looking for a lift that will fit 31s thanks for the feed back

how heavily do you plan on wheelin this jeep? i started with the 3.5" Rubicon Express lift with 31s. then i jumped to 32s then 33s all with that lift. i also had to trim the fenders pretty good and bump stop as well.

i would go with rubicon express. they are quality but a little more expensive. if you make an account on NAXJA.org then look up FullSizeXJ. he is a rubicon express vender and can give you a discount on all rubicon stuff.
