Went to Elbe yesterday and beat the crap out of my o'gurl and only thing that happened was I toasted a upper control arm bushing on my dana 30 .other then that it was a blast. Here is some pics.
Been a bit sense I've updated this .last weekend I traded my 34 swampers for some 33'S a tad wider.then found a set of thornbirds I couldn't pass on sense the price was so good
.broke out the hot knife and got to work.
Nice. I always wondered how those thornbirds would do hot knifed. Always seen the for sale near New for cheap. Curious to see how they do.
I like narrow rubber over wider myself. Lighter, tucks better, less leverage/strain on parts, and more pressure on a given point with the narrower tires. I liked your 34s. I have a q78 (35.5/11.8) in the garage to someday replace my metric 35/12.5s
Went and found some snow over the weekend. Had to test out my new to me beadlocks and tires. While our snow run my steering box took a crap on me and developed alot of play.so called around and found a buddy had a good used box and pump with the lines for 100 bucks .heck yeah..also sold the thornbirds today.
Love the pics. We just did a trail last sat. we had a blast. We went down on the side that was shaded enough to make it a challenge and went up the side that was facing the sun most of the day. Keep those pictures coming!
